History of KBE
Keith Bowden Electrical was established by Keith & Heather Bowden in May 1965. While Keith passed away in 1998, Heather Bowden is still active in the business with two of their sons Graeme and Trevor.
Keith Bowden Electrical employs approximately 45 staff and has 4 trucks on the road delivering to most of Adelaide every day.
The first shop was located at South Rd St Marys next to Roger's bike shop close to the corner of Merriton Ave. We quickly outgrew that shop and moved to the shop most people remember as Keiths little shop on South Rd at 1155 South Rd. When Colour TV first came to South Australia we set up a Sound Shop 3 doors down from our main shop dedicated to Colour TV and Radiograms. In 1977 we moved to our current location 1133 South Rd.
